Winter Watering

With winter coming on and your irrigation systems shut off until next spring you need to remember the importance of deep-watering your landscape plants between October and April.  Depending upon precipitation received during this time manual deep-watering of trees, shrubs, perennials and turf will need to be performed every 2 to 5 weeks.  Winter deep-watering is vital to protecting your landscape investment.  Be especially vigilant when we have periods of warm and/or windy days.
